Bodhi Seed Wrist Mala (Meditation Rosary)
A mala is a Buddhist rosary -- a string of beads used to count mantra recitations or other devotional practices. Beginning with the large tasseled Buddha bead (which isn't counted), circle the mala until the Buddha bead is reached again. The next set is counted in reverse order. Because it is made with seeds from the Buddha wisdom tree, a bodhi seed mala is considered auspicious to use for all practices. Our full and wrist size malas are seasoned with a natural oil for an antique appearance and feature a turquoise bead to help keep your place in the rhythmic recitations of mantras.
