Sandalwood Mala (Meditation Rosary)
A mala is a Buddhist rosary -- a string of beads used to count mantra recitations or other devotional practices. Beginning with the large tasseled Buddha bead (which isn't counted), circle the mala until the Buddha bead is reached again. The next set is counted in reverse order.
